Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Middlefinger Collective (“we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and protects information when you visit middlefingercollective.com (the “Site”). The Site is currently a pre-launch preview: you can browse it and join our waitlist, but you can’t place orders yet. Before we start taking orders or payments, we will update this policy to cover that information.

1. Information we collect

Information you give us. If you join our waitlist, we collect your email address. If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you choose to tell us.

Information collected automatically. Like most websites, our hosting provider automatically records basic technical information when you visit — such as your IP address, browser and device type, the pages requested, and the date and time — in server logs that we use to operate and secure the Site.

What we don’t collect. At this time, the Site does not use cookies, analytics tools, advertising pixels, or other trackers, and we do not collect payment information, government IDs, or precise location.

2. How we use your information

• To send you launch news, new-drop, and restock updates you signed up for;
• To respond to your questions and requests;
• To operate, secure, and troubleshoot the Site; and
• To comply with the law and protect our rights.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for targeted (cross-context behavioral) advertising.

3. Who we share it with

We use a few service providers to run the Site, and they process information only on our behalf and only as needed to provide their service:

• Vercel Inc. — hosts the Site (and therefore receives the technical information described above).
• Resend — an email delivery service that sends us a notification when someone joins the waitlist.
• Google Workspace — the email service where we receive those notifications and any messages you send us.

We may also disclose information if required by law, subpoena, or legal process; to protect our rights, safety, or property or that of others; or in connection with a sale, merger, or transfer of our business. The Site links to third-party sites such as Instagram, which have their own privacy practices that we don’t control.

4. Email communications

By joining the waitlist you agree that we may email you about our launch, new products, and restocks. Each marketing email will include a way to unsubscribe, and you can also opt out at any time by emailing sales@middlefingercollective.com. We will honor opt-out requests promptly and no later than 10 business days.

5. How long we keep information

We keep waitlist email addresses until you ask us to remove them or we no longer operate the waitlist. Server logs are kept by our hosting provider for a limited period under its own retention practices. We may keep information longer where the law requires or to resolve disputes.

6. Security

We use reasonable safeguards, including encrypted (HTTPS) connections to the Site and restricted access to the inboxes and accounts that receive your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we can’t guarantee absolute security. If a data breach affects your personal information, we will notify you and regulators as required by applicable law, including Florida’s Information Protection Act.

7. Children’s privacy

The Site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

8. Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live — including Florida, California, and other states with consumer privacy laws — you may have the right to know what personal information we hold about you, to access, correct, or delete it, and to opt out of the sale or sharing of your information or of targeted advertising. As stated above, we do not sell or share personal information for advertising. We will honor these requests for anyone in the United States: email us at sales@middlefingercollective.com, and we may need to verify your identity before acting on a request. We will respond within 45 days, and we will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.

Do Not Track. We do not track you across other websites or services, so the Site does not change its behavior based on browser “Do Not Track” signals.

9. Visitors outside the United States

The Site is operated from the United States. If you visit from elsewhere, your information will be processed in the United States, where privacy laws may differ from those in your country.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date above shows the latest version, and if we make material changes we will post a notice on the Site or email waitlist subscribers.
